My body started tingling and unwinding after some time breathing in through my nose and breathing out through my mouth. I eventually slowed my breathing down and focused on a distant, lemon chiffon-colored starlight. Once I got closer, this light beamed and my focus on its sheer glow drew me away from reality. My curiosity peaked and my brain began procreating visions on its own accord. It wasn’t as though I fell into its masterful illumination, but I willingly dove forward. When I made it through I saw transcendental birds flying into the sky and I catapulted after them with wings protruding from my back. As I flew high overhead through a frenzy of clouds the sun aided my vision as I scurried after the herd. I never looked down, but I knew there was no land, no grass, and no sea; nor was there any trepidation during this lucid flight. I wasn’t cold, warm, in pain, or distress. My hands and legs weren’t numb, but so still it was as if they were the same. My head was vibrating and my body was relaxed into my chair. I didn’t want this feeling to end. It felt like an eternity had passed, and finally, I could open my eyes once again to look at my phone as fifteen minutes had gone by. What were fifteen minutes felt like fifteen hours? Now, all I want is this exhilarating feeling back again, and again.
